Hotel Hunting in London: My Experience
It's easy to get London wrongon your first try. I learned that the hard way when I spent two days wandering the wrong neighborhoods, convinced that "central" meant near the tube station I’d booked a hotel near. Turns out, my "central" was actually a 25-minute walk from the actual city center, and the only thing central to my experience was the sound of construction noise from a nearby building site.
